Back from an epic wedding, was hard work, still shattered but well worth it as all had a fab time. Pics/vids will b posted when I have time.

How it is now

So far I have been doing really well living without money, it has it's ups and it's downs, more up than downs thankfully. Right now I'm playing a big part in helping to refurb a friends living room.  This is taking longer than expected due to unforeseen issues with damp and some other jobs needing more work than anticipated.  

Freeloader?

My host & friends  ,the Chris's, have been very patient all things considered and I am very grateful for their hospitality.  I am currently in a situation that I never expected to be in. With the refurb taking as long as it has and given the hospitality of my hosts I am left feeling a bit guilty that my presence is causing a strain on their resources.  The job is not yet finished though so what do I do?

With no transport and being in a city nowhere else close by to reside safely until I have finished the work. At this point  I am unsure how to proceed.  It’s a bit of  an awkward situation,  I don’t want to upset anyone and don’t wish to just leave because the work isn’t finished and truth be told I am enjoying the experience.

I have been made aware others in the local area have accused me of being a “Freeloader” This couldn’t be further from the truth. Just because I don’t live by conventional means and have alternative views doesn’t make me a freeloader.  This upset me allot and had a very restless night last night.  

I know I shouldn’t care what others think and know that this is people not having a proper comprehension of what I do even when I have spent time explaining to these people.   I guess that’s people for you and I have to remember that I do what I do because ,I DO, not because I live my life  through others and their expectations of me. Of course i want to do well by others but that is an expectation of myself.  I have to judge myself and ensure I do the best I can, however if I am blatantly causing a distress or upset I would hope that that it would be pointed out as a fact.

On the upside I am getting involved in something very soon that could help change this situation and enable me to finish the work here and not have to be a strain on anyone.  I will update if/when the situation changes.

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the Chris’s  for their support,  you guys have been awesome and it won’t be forgotten.
